Hello my dear reader π
I am here to share something about a magical character with you from whom I have learnt so much. For the last few days I have been listening to a song from the Hindi movie "3 Idiots" - "Behti hawa sa tha wo, udti patang sa tha wo, kaha gaya ussey dhoondo" playing randomly everywhere like in some reels on YouTube, on fb, even I heard it from someone else's phone and before all this I was humming it too. I was so carried away by this song and started thinking like why this song is playing around me so frequently these days. I understood that this song is asking me to discover my hidden potentials. The movie as you know was one of the biggest hits of its time.
Discover Your Rancho
Hope you remember the character Rancho (Ranchhoddas Shamaldas Chanchad) Phunsukh Wangdu from the movie 3 Idiots. This character in the movie was inspired by Mr. Sonam Wangchuk who is an engineer, an innovator, an educator, an environmentalist. He is well known for his extraordinary inventions in his locality using limited resources. You may get to know everything about him by searching on net (Wikipedia), sharing the link π

Now let's stick to our main character Rancho (Phunsukh Wangdu) whose out of the box thinking was really so much inspiring. As the song I mentioned above describes what this character in the movie is all about and how he thinks, how he behaves in difficult situations and how rebellious he is. He is a joyful person who lives in the moment and knows how to live every moment fully. When he falls, he seeks no one to lift him up. Instead, he gets up on his own. He touches everyone's heart, even those who can't understand him. He is the solution to every kind of trouble and brings smiles to people around him. He used to take his own path, a free-spirited person who lived on his own terms along with doing good deeds for others.
We can try to live like Rancho who truly believes in challenging each hardship. Being gutsy always goes against the flow, but at the same time, he is vigilant about his purpose and destination he has to reach, without thinking much about the hurdles coming in his way. He lives by adapting fruitful strategies and not the conventional common ways. He follows the pragmatic approach to find solutions for every single task. He isn't afraid of taking risks. We all have this Rancho in us but because of certain social pressures, family bound pressures and even self limiting beliefs we often suppress this Rancho and force ourselves to follow the unquestionable regular routine path. To live life to the fullest and to feel the essence of it, all you need to do is to evoke this Rancho.
I am not asking you to be irresponsible. Instead, pay attention to your life's purpose, duties, responsibilities with your full capacity, and that too, with a positive mindset. "Do it the Rancho way."
It happens with every individual at some point in life that one gets stuck in the maze banging himself to the dead ends . However hard you try to get the right path , all efforts get wasted.
This life is just like a Chakravyuh. As we all know a Chakravyuh is an ancient Indian military formation, described in the Mahabharata as a "wheel-shaped" or circular, multi-layered defensive labyrinth. It is a complex trap designed to engulf enemy troops, becoming increasingly difficult to escape as one moves deeper into its center, ( the circular rotating phalanx) a maze full of confusions and blunders. To be a winner and to get out of this maze you have to deal with so many difficulties. Though you can take small breaks to rejuvenate yourself yet you have to keep searching the right path. To tackle such situations you have to find this Rancho within yourself who could lead you to your destination by following the very unique path with unique solutions.
This Rancho is full of life's experiences and who has transformed himself from a half learner Abhimanyu to a fully skilled Arjuna. He is capable of breaking this Chakravyuh.
Our journey of life is just like taking birth as Abhimanyu ( Arjun's Son) who only knew how to enter the Chakravyuh but doesn't know how to come out of it. With time we emerge through various life's battles by learning lessons, upgrading our knowledge and one day we become fully skilled just like Arjuna and become capable of breaking the Chakravyuh of life.
You are given everything in raw form and here you have to develop skills just like Rancho to refine all these raw things, separating the waste while taking out the useful things which can help you to grow. Sometimes you need to bite the bullet in order to overcome the situation. Often the patterns are needed to be studied and break them if they are unhealthy. You have to keep going as Rancho does. His slogan "All Is Well" is enough to feel better at times when things get stuck and situations are not in favour.
Our life lessons prepare a whole book of unique experiences in which each chapter has its own story. Take out time and turn over these pages to rejoice your past time faults, the downfalls as well as achievements and glories. This will help you to relearn from past mistakes and reboost your confidence by those shiny moments when you bagged successes.
So dear have you met your Rancho till now if not then I hope after reading this you too will be able to discover your Rancho within yourself π΅️ π€ Wish you good luck π€π.

ReplyDeleteThanks bro π
DeleteVery nicely written, definitely every human is born with some ability...one has to identify and sharpen the skills. One thing I always agree and it's that we keep learning from our mistakes, mistakes correct us. Life teaches us at every step.
ReplyDeleteYes you are absolutely right π Thanks Krishna π
DeleteOnce this topic is raised why most people are reluctant to be themselves is that people are scared of being judged by others....most of us modify our behaviour according to the society....as society doesn't welcome people who think and behave differently. But one should be the way he or she wants because finally that's what will bring happiness in real sense.
ReplyDeleteThis is a total myth that society doesn't welcome people who think and behave differently spread by few powerful people to keep things under their control. The biggest example here I can give you of women now serving in our forces who weren't allowed to join defence in past times. Actually these Ranchos are the trend setters. They are the one who bring change .
Deletedon't afraid to be do mistake bcz our mistakes are true teacher in life
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely π€ do try your hands on things which really afraid you inspite of so many mistakes. One day you will come up as a winner π

ReplyDeleteHello brother π€ Thanks π What I think that we all are born like Abhimanyu but with time we learn skills to survive and when Divine time comes in our life we transform into Arjuna and conquer the battle of our very own life π€
