Here I am using the prism as a metaphor for the mentor.let's talk about the prism first. THE PRISM  In optical physics as we all know what a prism is . It's a transparent triangular glass object which  is used to refract and disperse light to particular angles. When a white light passes through the prism,we get a VIBGYOR ( the seven colours- Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red) The prism provides a medium for the white light to scatter into it's seven colours which normally we cannot see.
